In the month of April I have fallen in love with quite a few of products, some I have loved since I first got them and some I have just gotten into.
(I know its now May, this post had been forgotten about)
Please excuse the terrible photos, my camera died while trying to photograph so I had to use my iPhone.
Physicians Formula Translucent Pearl highlighter, Bioderma makeup remover, Smartskin makeup cleansing wipes, Maybelline Color tattoo in Inked in Pink, Michel Mercier detangling hairbrush, Covergirl Clump Crusher mascara, Essence stay all day 16hr concealer in 10 natural beige, Essence Stay with me long lasting lip gloss, Maybelline Color Sensational VIVIDS in 910 shocking coral
Firstly the makeup products I'm loving in April.
Essence stay with me lip gloss
This lip gloss I picked up for $1 which is an amazing price for us Australians. The colour looks dark and glittery in the tube but once on your lips it turns vibrant pink and has great staying power. I found it great for days where you don't want to be re-applying lipstick as it has a staining effect on the lips so it lasts a long time. The only thing I dislike about this is that it doesn't say what colour it is. I will hopefully be buying more of these if I can get my hands on them.
Essence stay all day 16hr concealer in 10 natural beige
I picked this up at the end of the month but I fell in love immediately. If you don't own this I suggest you go out and get yourself one. It works magic for covering under-eye bags and has really, really good staying power. My eye concealer is usually gone on the inside of my eye near my tear ducts by the end of the day as I have hay fever and my eyes get watery all the time, but this actually stayed in place and didn't budge!
Maybelline Color Sensational VIVIDS in 910 Shocking Coral
The name of this doesn't match the colour. The colour is a bright and vibrant pink and defiantly not a coral. Either way I love the colour as it makes me feel happy and I wore this on most days! It has quite good staying power, even after eating. I can't wait to try out more colours. Defiantly suggest checking these out!
Maybelline color tattoo in Inked in Pink
I received this in the makeup swap I did with Marie a little while back and fell in love immediately. I found this cream shadow really creamy, and so far it hasn't dried out at all. I love the colour pay off and use it most days as an eyeshadow base as it doesn't crease! I know we have limited colours in Australia but you should check them out anyway!
Physicians Formula Translucent pearls highlighter
I purchased this from priceline when physicians formula products were half price, so I think I only paid $15 for it which is a pretty good deal. What I love about this is that it comes with a brush and mirror so it was easy to use in my traveling makeup bag. I love the shimmer it has to it and it isn't too glowy. Great product from Physicians Formula!
Covergirl Clump Crusher
After using this for most of the month, then swapping to a travel sized YSL mascara I realized how much I actually love it. When compared to other mascaras it is truly amazing. It causes no clumping at all, Puts on a thin layer of mascara that can be built up and makes your eyelashes look amazing. Go and get yourself one today!
Now onto the hair and skincare products I loved this month.
Bioderma Makeup remover
I purchased this from Salon Melbourne a few weeks ago after seeing many reviews on YouTube and blogs. I knew I would not regret it and I haven't so far. This works amazing as an eye makeup remover, getting every little bit of mascara off your eyelashes. So happy I got to buy this as it is fairly hard to find outside of Europe.
Smartskin makeup cleansing wipes
I used these last year and decided to try and find something I liked more. I recently re-purchased them after seeing them on sale at Woolworths and thought I'd give them ago again. What I love about these is they have a really nice fresh smell, and they don't make my eyes sting. Some makeup wipes make my eyes sting and water even when I don't use them on my eyes. After comparing them to swissepers wipes these came out on top and I have already re-purchased a new packet.
Michel Mercier detangling hairbrush
Now I know I posted this in my hair products I'm lovin at the moment but I thought it was worth mentioning twice because it has been my lifesaver. I only used to brush my hair once or twice a week as it got so knotty and painful I used to dread doing it. After giving up and buying this hairbrush I soon realized it was the best $20 I have spent on my hair and wish I had of brought it earlier. Literally pain-free when you use this brush no matter how knotty and tangled your hair is. If you have really knotty hair I suggest you go and pick on of these up!
Well that's my favorites for April,
