High End VS Drugstore

Today I come to you with a new series on my blog called High End VS drugstore. These posts will feature two products: one high end and one drugstore, that will be similar or also known as 'dupes'.

Todays subjects are Benefits They're Real Mascara and L'oreal's False Lash Butterfly Effect Mascara. I know L'oreal's False Lash Butterfly Wings mascara has fibres in it that lengthen it, but both of these mascaras are create very similar results, and therefor in my opinion are an amazing set of dupes.

First up is Benefit's They're Real Mascara

What Benefit says:

They're real! lengthens, curls, volumizes, lifts & separates.
Our jet black, long-wearing formula won’t smudge or dry out. A specially designed brush reveals lashes you never knew you had!

When I first tried Benefits They're Real Mascara I thought it was a god send. This mascara lives up to its name in every aspect, except for curling - compared to L'oreal's False Lash Butterfly Wings. They're Real lengthened, lifted, separated and volumised my lashes WITHOUT clumping! Isn't that a girls dream- to find a mascara that makes her eyelashes look amazing, without clumping!
If you haven't tried Benefits They're Real Mascara, and your Benefit obsessed you must try it now!

You can purchase They're Real from here for $38

Next is L'oreal's False Lash Butterfly Wings Mascara

What L'oreal says:

Complete your winged eye look with volumised and fanned out lashes. False Lash Butterfly Wings mascara instantly volumises at the roots and stretches your lashes outwards for a winged eye effect.

What made me try out L'oreal's False Lash Butterfly Wings mascara was the brush, it is so unique and i was very intrigued by it.

As you can see the brush is unlike any other mascara brush available. It is tapered, the point being the smallest part of the wand, and the start being the largest part which helps the outer lashes appear longer.

This mascara is absolutely amazing, and by far my favourite mascara at the moment.
With a price tag of $25.95 you have got to go out and buy it now!
You can purchase L'oreals False Lash Butterfly Wings mascara here

Overall I think both mascaras are amazing, L'oreal's False Lash Butterfly Wings is the winner for me, only because it comes in a waterproof formula, I like waterproof mascaras better!

Have you tried either of these mascaras?
Which one was your favourite?
